Transforming an old radiator of a 19th century museum. The heating is in the middle of our exhibtion room. It works as a sofa. The Very Great Democratic Administration (VGDA) transforms it as a mobile showcase used in exhibition. It is displaying the complete collection of invitations that the national School of Fine Arts of of Lyon has received between october 1996 and may 1997.One has put them aside with care (Jean Bernard Griottier) keeping them for the VGDA. (You too can become a GDA worker). (Link to list 3 worker of VGDA).
Up to writing these lines, the unconfessed aims were :
The VGDA as an educational instrument makes the demonstration that this capitalist and democratic type of life leads to a grey consensus. Let's confess, and most of coloured teachers will agree, obtaining the colour grey via a simultaneous contrast is more lively than a band of uniform grey.Nevertheless, the display cabinet / radiator was beautiful. Apart from that, the year 1997 was quiet (see Curriculum Vitae) (Connection with page 3 : The work of art and the author). In fact, 1997 was the preparation and the very beginnings of 1998 major operations. Some of these operations have even been elaborated in 1996. |
