The gallery is in the former house of Helgi Thorgils Fridjonsson, an artist from Island.
This is the third presentation of the exhibition  entitled The House of Raw Materials and follows on from the first show, "Yellow Cake & Black Coffee" organized at the Contemporary Art Center Les Moulins Albigeois, in Albi, France during the summer of 2012, and the second show which took place in November 2012, at the “Art3” gallery in Valence, France.
The exhibition consisted of original mixed-media drawings in watercolour, charcoal, acrylic and  collage, created for the book, MMP 'la Maison de la Matière Prémière' (The House of Raw Materials), a publication: 36 pages, hardback, stitch bound, glued, final format: 21 x 26 cm. A copy of the book was shown in the Corridor.
As well as the drawings Niek van de Steeg presented a video entitled, “Running Matter and Yellow Cake” and a series of black white porcelain paintings on canvas.
