One day in June 2000, the director of the Abattoirs in Toulouse decided to carry out the instructions received from the central town hall of Toulouse at the time led by the mayor Domenique Baudis ;
to erase the drawings made by Niek van de Steeg on the desk of the secret agent of the Very Large Democratic Administration. Thus disappear the very large format portraits of the ZEBDA group, Philippe Douste Blazy and François Simon.
In this video, we see Philippe Douste Blazy congratulating Mathilde, a student who did not draw his portrait in any way, and then the erasure of François Simon's portrait. It can be seen that the chief curator, the director at the time, takes a malicious pleasure in the erasure of this drawing.
